I recognize this picture from my childhood and on, I now live in Bc. This is the old bridge and I can see the roof of my grandfathers house ,J.J. Macdonald,in the far field. Later in the 30’s he built a cottage in the lower field by the river, and we would watch for mr. Sinclair, or Sinky,, come over that bridge in his trap, to deliver the mail. I also know the area of the property of Alec Macrae, who was the brother of J.J.’ S late wife Sarah.
I am the daughter of Jack Macdonald, the only son of J.J.
